Solid Waste Services in Charlotte will not be collecting trash, recycling, yard waste, or bulk items on Monday. Outside regular business hours, CharMeck 311 callers can report water, sewer, storm water and animal issues via an automated service that dispatches assistance. If yard waste exceeds these specifications, no service will be provided. Leaves and grass clippings must be bagged in clear bags or other bags left open so the driver can see the contents. Bags must weigh less than 50 pounds each, with a 20 bag limit per week. (Drivers can spend no more than 20 minutes per home collecting yard trimmings). Services will collect trash, recycling, yard waste, and bulk items on Friday, December 24th and Friday, December 31st. Limbs and brush should be separated from other waste.
